Who We Serve

Connecting businesses, governments and institutions for shared growth.

We serve a diverse community across the U.S. and India — helping them access opportunities, build partnerships and achieve sustainable growth.

Who we are built for

Three groups get the most out of the Council.

We are not a chamber for everyone. Everything we build is designed around these three audiences - and if you are one of them, you will find the rest of this site useful very quickly.

U.S. Small & Mid-Sized Businesses

You are competing for contracts against companies twenty times your size, and you are wondering whether India is an opportunity or a distraction. We can help with both.

  • You employ between ten and five hundred people in the United States
  • You hold federal, state or local contracts — or you are trying to win your first
  • You are in technology, engineering, cybersecurity, healthcare, hospitality or professional services
  • You are an Indian American or Asian American founder, or you lead a minority-owned or women-owned business
  • You are considering an India delivery centre, an India supply chain, or Indian customers

Indian Companies Entering the United States

You have proved the business in India. The United States is a bigger, slower, more procedural market — and the difference between eighteen months and five years is usually who you know.

  • You run an Indian company with a product or service that already works at home
  • You want U.S. customers, a U.S. subsidiary, or access to federal, state and local procurement
  • You are exploring a U.S. joint venture, distribution partner or acquisition
  • You have been to trade shows and come back with business cards but no pipeline

Governments, Agencies & Institutions

You have a mandate to reach businesses. We have spent eight years building the relationships to reach them — company by company, in two countries.

  • You are a U.S. state economic development or international trade office
  • You are an Indian state investment promotion bureau or industries department
  • You are an export promotion council or industry body
  • You are a federal agency with a small business, minority business or supplier diversity mandate
  • You are a university or business school looking to reach practitioner audiences across both markets
How We Work

From first conversation to lasting results.

1

Connect

We understand your goals and connect you with the right people — government buyers, state agencies, or peer businesses.

2

Match & Partner

We make introductions that carry institutional weight — procurement briefings, state-to-state agreements and partner introductions.

3

Train & Prepare

Executive education built with the University of Maryland's Smith School, plus sector roundtables with members who have done it before.

4

Explore & Expand

Trade missions, delegations and state-to-state programmes open doors in new markets, from IndiaSoft to state capitals in both countries.

5

Grow & Get Recognised

Eligibility for the Incredible Inc. 50 Awards and a public directory profile put your growth in front of policymakers on both continents.
